One recent project was a fully custom headboard that checked every box the homeowners couldn’t find in store. The challenges?

Or take another project that both my clients and I absolutely loved—a full staircase railing makeover. While I had never done this exact type of work before, that didn’t stop me. My clients had standard railings and balusters that completely clashed with their newly renovated space. They trusted me to redesign, choose materials, and select the perfect stain for their new oak railings.

I won’t lie—when I managed to match the stain exactly to their flooring, I was just as thrilled as they were. The job took longer than expected, and sure, it was my first time doing this type of project, but honestly? It was my perfectionism that slowed me down.
